Gingerline is one of the best dining experiences that I’ve been too in London, not just because my amazingly talented best friend builds the set, but they create the most magical settings for you to enjoy your dinner. Set at a secret location along the ‘ginger’ East London line you’re transported to another world for the duration of the evening where every tiny detail has been so carefully thought out. The food is definitely the best out of all the pop up dining experiences I’ve been too, I tasted the best dessert I’ve ever had at the first one I went too. They’ve just finished a run but will be back with another concept so look out for it!

Craig Redman and Karl Maier, make up the art collective Craig & Karl. Craig lives in New York and Karl lives in London and they work together daily to produce bold work that is filled with simple messages and executed in a thoughtful, often humorous way. They specialize in illustration and installation and their work is recognisable due to their colourful, pop art based works that have been seen in exhibitions worldwide. They are contributors to British Vogue’s Culture Edit and do their monthly take on a current popular event. They did their take on Bowie in line with the V&A’s Bowie retrospective, as well as taking on an illustration of the Queen of Pop music, Beyonce referencing her Mrs Carter Show as seen here. Not only do I like them because they run on my time zones, I like the idea of them collaborating from different different sides of the Atlantic, which means they can share their creative genius-ness with a wider audience. Smart thinking Craig & Karl!
